no way to stop manual recording

i started a manual recording to do some testing. now i cant stop it. there is no 'stop' button?

wait, i restarted the recording service, it then began recording again, along with a live tv recording that had failed earlier that i thought it had forgotten about. i went into recordings and THIS time the 'cancel' button worked.

why didnt it work before!!!??

If you schedule a manual recording, then you can cancel it from the Recording screen just like any other recording - unless its within the start/end time of the recording and you dont have the recording service running. Between the start/end time of a recording it always askes the recording service to cancel a recording. If the recording service isnt running, then it wont be able to cancel it.

but the recording service WAS running. i had to restart it before i could cancel.

ive had nothing but trouble with the live tv streaming. i have followed all the instructions i could find but it always seems to crash irrecoverably

Actually, I had the same issue a couple of times after I installed 1.4.7. I started a manual recording and then stopped it, but it didn't stop, even though the PVRX2 program thought it did. Then I couldn't cancel or erase the file because the recording service had a hold of it. The only way I could regain control was to stop the recording service manually.

I should check to see if it still does it.
