problem: 2 tuners record same channel same time

I have 2 HVR-1600 cards (second recently installed) and I cannot get the recordings to record properly. If it's say 4:00 and there is one show to record at 4, both tuners will record the show simutaneously. Unfortunately, both recordings end up being glitchy and tough to watch.

If there are 2 different shows on 2 different channels recording at 4, each tuner will record each channel, but both recordings are glitchy and problematic. I have no glitching or problems watching LiveTV

What could be causing this?

I'm using the ATI Codec (as my video card out is an ati x1300)

Post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log, along with the times one of these recordings happen, and I'll take a look.

That log shows two recordings:

Are these not what you'd expected it to record?

I'll have to clear the logs and try to recreate something. Those shows may have been recording at the time, but I am looking at shows that have been recorded in the past few days, ones that don't seem to show in the log if those are the only two.

Ok. Repost the logs next time it happens.

BTW, make sure you dont have any season recordings that are listed twice in the Recurring section of Recordings screen, otherwise you'll get two recordings of those shows.
