Metadata in video library?

I often archive my recordings to another dirve - which I access through the 'video library' feature. The comskip works great but once I move it, I loose the metadata. Is there an 'easy' way to move files, yet retain the program information?

oh and try mpegimport from wiki to re-import those shows back into db..
but you won't need it anymore if you use SSA to transfer them... Smile
