Pinnacle 3010ix Audio Problems

I have just built a new media centre using a Pinnacle 3010ix. To get the card to work I had to add two Balckgold DVB-T devices from the list (as found on these forums), because it didn't work with the Pinnacle 3010ix option.

QQ: why is the Pinnacle 3010ix in the list if it doesn't work???

Anyway, I have scanned all channels, on both of the cards and get a good signal on most channels. However on some channels I get the correct audio, others have no audio at all and a couple of times I get the voice description of what's going on on the screen.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I only add devices to the list that users have confirmed as working. That said, there is no way to know if they're going to make changes to their drivers that break thing later.

GB-PVR will list all the audio streams in the scan results. In this case you've mapped the channel to the wrong audio stream.

Would it be a safer bet to install Balckgold drivers in Windows rather than the Pinnacle ones?

Also, is it possible to get the Pinnacle remote working with GBPVR?

I dont know the answer to that. I no virtually nothing about either Pinnacle or Blackgold devices.

I dont know. Some devices (like the Hauppauge ones) have external text files that control how the remote control buttons behave with the current application, so its often just a case of adding key settings for PVRX2.exe.

I tried the patch, but it didn't help.

I have had some more time to play around this evening and I concentrated on one channel, Film 4. The scan finds Film4 and Film4 (Audio #2). If I enable both in the digital channel mapping page, then back on the create capture source page both channels have the same tuning request, Film4 (Audio #2).

I can't get it to select just Film4 for the tuning request.

When mapping other channels a few also use the (Audio #2) in the tuning requests. The EPG source is set to DVB EPG Broadcast

Only way I can map the channels properly is if I use an XML file for the EPG
