Thanks Fatman_do I will file that away for future reference Smile but I think in this case as it worked fine for the recordings screen it should have also worked in the plugins if it could.....jeeze that sounds rather muddled but I'm sure you know what I mean <grin>

Snooze Wrote:Oh ok! I read your previous one to fast. I see how you were testing it now. I still wont bother the developers with something this minor.

Actually I think you are wrong about not bothering the developers as I can see a number of people wanting to see what the weather is going to be like or check their stocks while still keeping an eye on a TV programme, not so much go into a music programme as there is no way you will be listening to music & watching TV at the same time (if you are at all sane that is Wink )

Anyway I found a "sort of " workaround for it but it means the main menu inset would be small'ish & down the bottom left hand corner.....if you are interested I could attach if for you?

Well, Weather2 and Stocks should probably show a lower corner inset. DVD, BurnDVDX2 and Jukebox2 should probably show none and actually stop what is playing.

But anywho... what you got? I will try anything you want, as long as it is reversible.

Don't assume anyone is sane Smile

GBPVR.exe used to support inset on the MVP and I'm pretty sure I can do it on the PCH too, if sub is interested.

Also over the years a lot of mvpmc and mvpmcx2 has bee developed with me listening to Internet Radio while watching TV. I never claimed to be sane.

Yeah I must admit after I posted that message I realised I have often kept my eye on what is happening on TV & listened to music at the same time & I also never claimed to be sane either <stupid grin with tongue hanging out of side of mouth>

Anywho sorry Snooze I got a bit tied up doing other things but here is the skin file for you (it won't be going into the production version) rename the skin.xml in Skin2\Blue-Retro-SHV\Menu to something else so you can bring it back if you want to & copy the attached skin.xml into that folder.

I think I was having an anxiety attack waiting! LOL j/k. Yeah that works great now so the inset TV doesn't run over the plugins that do not have anything to prevent it. Thank you very much!
