Hello,

I'm just starting with my PCH-A110 and GBP-VR configuration so I'm not an expert. Sad

I have installed GBPVR mvpmcx2 2.6 with the CSI installer on the PCH and installed GBPVR on my Windows XP system.
After configuring some shares on my PC I’m able to start GBPVR on the PCH.
If I select Video library from the menu I see the shared directory and the included files.

If I select a “ts” file and start I see the video but I don’t get any sound. If I play this file from a network share from the PCH I see the movie and hear the sound correctly.

Who could help me further to solve this problem?

Many thanks,

Richard

I should be able to help. Compress and post your GBPVR logs after you try and play a TS file and I will have a look. I'd also you to telnet to you PCH and type this command

cat /tmp/dumpts.txt

and copy the screen output into your message.

Martin,

Here is my telnet output:

/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK # cat /tmp/dumpts.txt
cat: can't open '/tmp/dumpts.txt': No such file or directory
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK #

And here are the log files in the log.zip file

I don't even know how you managed to connect, your logs don't have anything enabled for connecting from a PCH. Did you run NMTInstall at all? You don't need as much with CSI, but there still are some changes required.

To get going, run NMTInstall untick everything except "Configure GBPVR NMT Settings" and "Interact from Desktop" and supply the MAC address 0006DC804B3C and choose the resolution, it looks like you want PAL.

Martin,

I have reinstalled GBP-VR with NMTInstall and now I'm able to hear the sound and see the film from the ts file.

Only now the GBP-VR BLUE skin is very big on my screen. Where could I solve that?

Kind regards,

You probably didn't select PAL when you ran NMTInstall? Upload your GBPVR logs again and I will have a look.

Martin,

When I reinstall the program with NMTInstall.exe I'll get an error.
"There is an error occured in the GB-PVR configuration. The program has to be closed.
This could be the reason why I didn't get the PAL selection option.

I'll include the lates log files.

It looks like you have damaged your GBPVR installation, maybe be deleting files you shouldn't have or improperly editing config.xml I would personally start again.

Sub might want to help too, by your first logs you shouldn't even have been able to use GBPVR on the NMT.

Martin,

I have uninstalled GBPVR and cleaned the directory's C:\program Files\devnz\GBPVR and C:\mvpmc

Then I started reinstalling the software by running the NMTInstall installer. During the installation I get the following error:

Signature of the error:
AppName: nmtinstall.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: xml.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000dc2c

Your help is very welcome and you are doing a great job.

Kind regards,

Richard Meijn
