Apparently .Net 3.5 is a requirement of the WrapNetflix (?) dll that was added with this version. I get the same error when upgrading from the previous version which worked fine to this one. I'm not sure which .net I have installed on the htpc. dhgb probably should update the announcement post if whurlston's diagnosis is correct.

System.XML.Linq is part of the 3.5 framework, but not part of 2.0. So I'm pretty sure, I've been wrong once or twice though. Wink

Sorry about that, I added the .net 3.5 requirement to the instructions. It was new, since I added the netflix API to the program.

Looks like my reply was 20 seconds too late Smile It has been added to the instructions.

You must install .net 3.5 before running the program. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en

Hi all,

Is there an easy way to determine which version of .net is installed on a machine?

Thanks.

DH,

Can you please check the zip file for the New Version 1.3.0.35968 - 11-11-09? The Netflix TX Desktop.exe file is the same date I have currently (11-9-2009). It seems it should have a newer date... no?

You are correct, I'm not sure what I did. It is the newest file version now.
