I've updated the script files. It seemed that mencoder had problems seeking in your sample. I removed the seek and was able to transcode your sample. The updated files are on Mediafire.

I assume you used guided_transcode. What options did you choose ? I will try to do the same as you. Because i just tried this morning and nothing works, even with the modified scripts.

I have found something ! I changed my Regional Setting to English (Canada) instead of French (Canada) and it seems to work really well ! Yeah !!!

Is it possible that your stattik_transcode_0.5.6 script is having the same "problem" for me ? Cause i tried it and it does not work even with the Region change.

Good to hear it worked. I wonder what changes when the region changes.... I may check that out. I'm not sure about my original script. I haven't used it in over a year.

I went ahead a set my region to French (Canada) and a believe I fixed the issue. The scripts are updated on mediafire.
