GBPVR 1.0.16
I am looking to remove commercials, rename the recording and then transcode - all automatically.
I have comskip, comclean, and renamerecording in a postprocessing.bat file and then GBPVR config set up to transcode overnight. With that being said the automatic transcoding is a lower priority than the first three items.
I am getting errors in the comclean.err file and renamerecording doesn't always work. The last example of this was a recording that appeared to have comskip run fine (identified by the 2 .txt files) but the new output .mpg file from comclean was not produced and the two .txt files were renamed with the episode name (but not the .mpeg file).
Also, it seems that when the files are renamed then they are not available in the recordings page but they are available on the video library page.
What is the best way to remove commercials and rename the recording? Do I need to make a change to my setup? Secondarily, I'd like to be able to transcode the renamed file automatically (overnight based on the "Wake Machine" setting) - (I understand that the transcoding is *use at your own risk*).
Thanks for your insight
