I had a similar problem with the same channels using Schedules Direct so I have one more suggestion for you before you nuke.
Check the tv_grab_na_dd.conf file (located in the .xmltv subfolder) in your EPG folder, you'll have to open it with notepad. When this happened to me, both the SyFy and ABCF channels were listed as "not channel" and the old SciFi and Fam were listed as "channel" with the correct channel number assigned. I edited the file, changed the new channels to "channel" with the correct channel number then deleted the old channel names and numbers (I guess you could change them to "not channel" if you wanted to keep them for some reason). Saved the file, did an epg update and the channels were there with show information.
