Hi,

I just finished seting up windows 7 x64 and installed GB-PVR in it. My recording works fine but when I try to watch live TV I get nothing but a black screen. If I choose ffdShow video decoder HD-PVR starts but still a black screen, if I use Microsoft DTV-DVD I don't hear the HD-PVR and still a black screen. Works fine on my vista x32 install.

I have attached the logs running ffdshow.

Thanks!

try installing ac3filter, I was using a dvb-t tuner yesterday with windows 7 for our h.264/he-aac-lc dvb-t and after installing ac3 filter I had sound.

I had this working on Win7 and got a black screen when moving to a non existing Channel on Live TV. After playing around with config to fix it, I now broke it so it is black screen all the time when on Live TV. Recorded programs work (even watching while recording did work at one stage).

It works for me. I have 32-bit Windows 7. I think the only filter I specifically installed was the AC3Filter. I am using the windows 7 h.264 decoder (dtv-dvd). I do have "enable live preview" turned off though. Have you tried turning live preview off?

Turning Live Preview off did the trick for me. Thank you.
I hope more people with Win.7 find your post.
