Popcorn Hour C-200 and GB-PVR

I've searched the forums and read the wiki documentation, but I'm still unsure of the status of using the Popcorn Hour C-200 with GB-PVR. The wiki says that the C-200 is not supported.

I was all set to purchase either a PCH A-110 or HDX 1000, but both these models seem to be hard to find because they are being discontinued (at least according to the reseller I talked to).

Is there anyone who has successfully got the C-200 to work? Are there any issues? Benefits?

I have a C200 but there is no GBPVR client for it. I do like it, but it is getting into the HTPC price range.

Some places might have good prices on NMT's I know amperordirect dropped their price and has free (US) shipping on the HDX1000. The best deal still is the EGreat M34a at $139. A lot of people are suggesting there will be a lot of A110's on ebay if the next gen PCH comes out (a lower priced c200) in January near CES.

Have you looked at this A-200?

Will GBPVR work with it like the A-100 series?

I have been following the A-200 since I heard it was talked about at CES, but I don't have one and I don't expect to there will be a client, it is based on the C-200 code. Like the C-200 I could probably get the UI with no media playback which isn't very useful. I won't buy one right away since I want to find out more about the cooling fan.

As this also spells the end of the A110, for mvpmcx2 GBPVR users now must consider either the EGreat M34a or ebay for used products. The good news is the price of the used devices on ebay have been reasonable, and the new price of the more powerful A200 will probably make them even drop further.

If that's the case then the 200 series is pretty much useless to me. Having the PVR functions available on the PCH is far more important than any other feature it could provide.
