My HTPC randomly getting zero byte recording size.
The harddisk space is sufficient.
Mostly happened on Thursday.
I shutoff my HTPC every night and turn on every morning for a fresh start.
Attached here are the log files.
What could be the possible problem?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

What was an example recording in those logs that was zero bytes long?

I started having this problem when I altered config.xml to use alternate tuners for successive recordings. Hasn't happened since...
- Silent client PVR: HDPlex HS.1 aluminium fanless case / Thin-ITX ASRock H81TM-ITX motherboard / Intel Celeron 1850T CPU / 4GB RAM / 120GB SSD / TBS6982 DBS-S2 dual-tuner card / Win10+nPVR+Plex Media Player feeding LG OLED55B6V + Anthem MRX510 AV Receiver / PMC GB1 / B&W / REL speakers.
- Noisy NAS: Xeon / Intel mobo / 16GB RAM / FreeNAS + Ubuntu VMs on VMware ESXi + 12TB RAID
running Plex Media Server

Hi liteswap,
Could you let me know what you had altered in config.xml? Perhaps I can give it a try. Thanks.

I checked out those logs, and looked at the creation of a couple of those recordings, but it looked fine, and no sign of any errors. You're not running low on disk space?

Hi sub,
I've check the disk space and there are plenty of disk space left.
I'll try to update the Hauppauge Drivers and hopefully it does resolve the problem.

The other thing I wonder about is whether reducing the amount of memory in your machine might help. There still seems to be some buggers in the older generation Hauppauge devices in machines with 4+ GB of ram.

Hi Sub,
OK, I will try remove 2GB of RAM. See if it does help.

Sorry: I misled you (accidentally of course). I'm STILL getting those zero-length recordings...
