Not really a request for support as I will wipe everything and reinstall, but all of a sudden I am getting a strange problem.

Just had BBC1 (1) on then went back to EPG guide and selected BBC News 24 (80)... but BBC played again instead. Went back to the guide and tried again but the same thing happened. It even happened when manually entering the channel number (ie) 80.

Then went back to BBC 1 and tried BBC News 24 again and this time the correct channel came on.

Wierd.

regards.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Well it happened once yesterday and I thought nothing of it, but it happened again tonight so will reinstall everything again tomorrow and see how it goes from there.
I have never experienced this problem before so presume some file somewhere is corrupt or something.

If it happens again, post the logs and I'll take a look.

Which channel did you try to change to/from, and what did you end up seeing?

I doubt I can be of any help but this happens to me from time to time. Seems it's just with digital stations and not analog.
If, when in the guide, I choose 3,7, 9,11 or 13, it will go to channel 2. If I choose an analog station, it works every time. I've tried this with both the 2250 and the HDHR by moving tuner priority and it still happens occasionally. Not a big deal for me so I just live with it but it's something that is somewhat recent for me.

I recently had a similar event with one clear QAM channel. 106.4 would always tune to 106.1 when Watch was selected from the guide. The channel mapping looked right, so I did a manual scan for 106.4 and put in the value the scan returned, a frequency (685...), rather than the channel number. Worked OK then, but haven't really tested since. I can provide some more info if it would help.

Pretty sure I wanted to watch BBC News 24 (channel 80) but it gave me BBC 1 (Channel 1).
It happened again last night too, I wanted to watch Channel 4 (Channel 4) and it give me ITV 1 (Channel 3).

Thanks pcostanza - its all recent for me too, dont know why it is heppening now as have been using gbPVR for a while now and have not changed versions.

UPDATE:- Hey Sub, it just did it again at 18:13. I clicked on Channel 4 and it gave me ITV. New set of logs attached. At least I can be sure this time what channels it picked. Its all very odd.

Cheers.

I can see why its happening in your logs. Its because you've got the mux set to 'Full TS'. You need to have it set to 'TS Mux' instead.

Full TS is only for producing debug files for me, and contains multiple channels. When this file is played, the app will show you the first stream it finds, which could be any of those channels. TS Mux on the other hand only contains the channel requested.
