Suddenly, my 2250 is giving me problems. I can record QAM with 1 of the tuners but not the other. Scans even come up moot. I used the BDA migration tool to copy over the channels but still it won't record. This just started last night and nothing new has been installed, nothing changed or adjusted. It just happened.
Logs are attached. Thanks.

I guess the lack of rebooting (been using sleep mode alot) caused some problems so after a reboot, removing the device and adding it back, I'm good again.
Ain't computers fun?

Hibernate might be better than sleep because I read that it does a hardware reset upon restart. At least it looked like it did in XP. I haven't figured out how to hibernate in Win7 yet. Power Options appears, at first glance, to just offer sleep. It sure is fast going into and coming out of sleep, however.

I've had pretty good luck with sleep mode. Can't say that I've lost one recording due to not waking. I shouldn't say anymore before I jinx myself.

This page will show you how to enable and disable hibernate mode in W7.
