I am aware that the device is not installed, that's why I posted this thread start for help.
When we say "not installed", we mean in Windows, not GBPVR. It shows as installed in post #5 but the filtercheck.log you zipped and posted in post #7 do not show the device:

Code:

The config logs in that post also don't show an attempt to scan.

A definition already exists for this device in the bda.ini file, so you shouldnt need to add it.

[Easy TV DVB-T]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=USB DVB-T TV Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=USB DVB-T TV Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

To scan, you need to setup a capture source, setting the device type to 'Easy TV DVB-T', set the EPG to 'DVB EPG', then hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button and it'll scan for channels.

You shouldn't need to add an entry to bda.ini for that card. You should just be able to set up a capture source and select "Easy TV DVB-T". If you check the box that says "Show only installed devices" it should be the only one listed.

Follow the DVB guide posted at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=43361 and if it doesn't find any channels during the scan, zip and post your log folder.

For it to work in GraphEdit, you most likely need to attach the tuner filter to the MS Network Provider filter or the DVB-T Provider filter first.

Edit: sub, don't you ever sleep? I'd like to not have to add "sub beat me to it" once in a while. Big Grin

I purchased a USB TV Stick from http://www.tvstick.co.uk recently which also works fine with Arcsoft software (supplied) but I gave up trying to get it to work with GBPVR. I now use a TV card which works fine.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look. Its almost certainly due to not having an appropriate decoder installed though.

You can zip and post them all. Every time you start pvrx2, it creates a backup and it backs up 3 or 4 of the logs. The ones without the numbers are always the most recent.
