ANOTHER UPDATE:-
It seems to happen when using the guide and selecting a channel. It selects ITV everything I pick Channel 4... BUT... if I manually type the channel number from the keyboard it does show the correct channel.
Something in the guide must be corrupt somewhere. If you got no clues Sub I will uninstall and install again.

Brilliant, thanks Sub I will change it back and test again.

I only changed it to try and rid myself of the problem from my other thread which meant something would only broadcast for about a minute then throw me out to the TV guide again.

I had a go at using the Microsoft Mux thingy as I read on the forums but found that some channels just did not play at all whilst others were fine. The ones that did not play (eg) Channel 4 just showed a static picture. So I tried the Full TS.

Anyway, sorry for being a pain and I have now selected TS Mux again and will test.

Cheers again for all your help Sub. :-)

I'll have to check when I get home but I've always had mine set to TS Mux and not full. I hope I'm wrong but last I looked, it was set correctly.

I'm happy to look at your logs if you can post them. That was definitely the cause of mrspaces problem.

I've been using TS Mux as well (or at least intended to); I'm aware of the Full TS situation, so believe I chose TS. I'll check and report back.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs, along with a brief description of what happened, and I'll take a look.

I hadn't responded to this thread earlier because mrspaces was in the UK and I wasn't sure it was relevant in his situation. But for Paul and Mike, I'm pretty sure it is since they also use QAM. In config.xml, set <BDAStartOnUnencryptedChannel> to "false" and it should fix the issue. I was also having a problem with certain recordings failing and I changed (or maybe added) <BDAAllowMultiRecordOnEncrypted> to "true". I have not had any issues since making these changes.

I can confirm that I am using TS Mux so I'll try Will's suggestion and see what happens over the next few days.

EDIT: I tried changing the setting for the first item listed above but still had problems. I couldn't find the second setting so I added it and could not start PVRX2. I removed the setting and now things are fine. Not sure why it didn't work the first time or why the second setting was not in my config nor would it work when added.
But, since things are working now, I'll shut up and just give a big thanks for the help.

I am using the TS Mux (DVR-MS does not work on this machine, more on that later).

The BDAStartOnUnencryptedChannel was already false. Based on Paul's experience, I didn't try the second setting.

Discovered a 0 byte recording from last night, will post on a separate thread.
