hd homerun won't complete scan

using xp with sp3. comcast cable in california. cannot get gb to complete scan of channels when trying to map. always freezes at 541250.0. i've turned off firewall etc. any suggestions would be appreciated. logs are attached.

I can't say for sure you have the problem I do but it sounds like something I've posted a few months back. I've tried a number of old and current firmware and get the same problem. My 2250 scans just fine.
I also posted on GBPVR section of the HDHR forum and never got any response (they are usually quick to answer).
The only difference for me is that it works in XP for me but not in Vista and W7. I use the Wiz Migration tool to copy channels from my 2250 to the HDHR and other than that, I'd be SOL.

there's a thread here that suggest that when it scans 1080i channel something goes bad. I don't have a clue. new to dvb-c. My problem may be unique, can't find any similar problems. i do have a sky star2 pci card installed, but i don't think that is the problem. all i know is that it freezes in the same spot every time, no matter if i change codecs or turn off firewall.
