I see gbpvr in the config for the hd homerun but don't see the hd homerun in the sources list in the config of gbpvr. I know others are using the HD Homerun with GBPVR. How do I get this setup? I scanned my channels and can view them in vlc player but I haven't been able to figure out how to detect the device in the GBPVR config.

Ok so I was able to find the post on the silicon dust site that had the code to add to add the hd homerun to the sources in the gbpvr config but now when I try to map the channels I'm getting an error that states:

GBPVR was unable to start the BDA Device you have configured check the device is configured properly and not already in use.

I tried reinstalling the bda drivers but that hasn't helped. Any ideas?

This is sounds like the section you added to the bda.ini did not have the correct names.

Try running filtercheck.exe, then zip and attach filtercheck.log and I'll take a look. Also post the sections you added to bda.ini.

Here's the section added to BDA.ini

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-0]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
;TUNING_SPECIAL=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-0
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

[Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-1]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
;TUNING_SPECIAL=1
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner XXXXXXXX-1
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

The filter check is also attached.

You do realise you've got to replace those XXXXXXXX's with you serial number or whatever it is? ie

FILTER_RECEIVER=Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 10152C41-0

I dont know where they normally get this info. Sticker on the bottom or something? I dont have a HDHomeRun myself, so I'm not familiar with the process, but I know it has to be done.

You can find the info including these numbers in that filtercheck.log you posted.

I found them. The setup program actually lists them. Ok so now I can map the digital channels but I've got another problem. They show up in the little preview box when I map them but when I enter PVRX2 and hit live tv it flashes on the screen for a second then closes.

Sorry. Looks like that was a codec issue I set it to system default and it started working. Thanks again.
