"television programs" and "set reminders for programs"-> "programmes"?
"adverts" -> "commercials" is more internationality known
"supports dvd and blu-ray disc playback. " does it!?
"Like the Hauppauge MediaMVP and Popcorn Hour" -> "Such as the Hauppauge...."
"gbpvr has a community of helpful, friendly and active members" -> "gbpvr has a active community of helpful, friendly and knowledgeable members"
"that help expand the gbpvr experience." -> "that help expand and enhance the gbpvr experience"
Cheers, I always knew the text needed another perspective.

I really should have put more effort into directly testing it in IE6. I put all this effort in and rely on the compatibility mode in IE8 . I've just got this:http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage up and running and can see what's happening - pretty drastic!
I'll work on seeing if I can iron it out.
