Great work Hairy, and others.
I've taken the liberty of tidying up the text a bit, making it a bit more consistent and correcting typos, emphasising the community element and adding the fact that gbpvr is free - remember that we're competing with Windows Media Center. See what you think: -- Quote:gbpvr is a free, mature, robust, full-featured Personal Video Recorder (PVR) and media centre application which runs on Microsoft Windows. Its strengths lie in how it handles your television experience, in its support from an active and friendly community, and its community-developed add-ons. Did we mention that it's free?
- Silent client PVR: HDPlex HS.1 aluminium fanless case / Thin-ITX ASRock H81TM-ITX motherboard / Intel Celeron 1850T CPU / 4GB RAM / 120GB SSD / TBS6982 DBS-S2 dual-tuner card / Win10+nPVR+Plex Media Player feeding LG OLED55B6V + Anthem MRX510 AV Receiver / PMC GB1 / B&W / REL speakers.
- Noisy NAS: Xeon / Intel mobo / 16GB RAM / FreeNAS + Ubuntu VMs on VMware ESXi + 12TB RAID running Plex Media Server

They always smile and nod and say "but what about that feeling you get when you get something to work". I experienced that for the first time last night. I could have done cartwheels when I got it working... and the bloody tooltip looks better for it. liteswap Wrote:I've taken the liberty of tidying up the text a bit liteswap, thanks for the feedback - good stuff. Especially the more emphasis on free and international community. I think I'll stick in a couple of these final tweaks to the text and leave any finer points to sub for when it goes live. Cheers

No, GBPVR does not natively support Blu-ray Disc playback. Unless sub has a surprise for us with 1.5.x

stustunz Wrote:dont know if you guys care but on my iphone the features page the text overflows the light blue at the bottom Yup, you're right. I'll look into this and see if it's a Safari issue or just an iPhone issue and try to fix it later tonight. I may not spend too much time on it though since it would only affect iPhones/Macs. |
