Duplicate Recordings

I've taken a look at the logs, and the database, and I can see the duplicates (with slightly different start times) but the cause isnt clear.

We'd probably have to find another future recording this occurs for, zip a copy of the before-DB, then hit the 'update epg' button on system screen, then zip a copy of the after-DB, and the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log.

BTW, do you have any capture sources with the EPG source set to 'none'?

Sorry I did not see this earlier - I was waiting for an email notification - I think I needed to login again after the preceding post. All capture devices are set to EPG Broadcast. I will post the files shortly.

Hi Sub,

Here is a set of log files for a duplicate listing of NIP/TUCK, one starting at 11:00 pm and another at 11:01 on the same channel (81). This did not get corrected when I updated the EPG.

I tried to attach the db files, but they're too large for the system. Let me know if you need them and we'll have to work out some other way of sending them.

Sorry, but for now I'd rater not look at it until the next release. There have been some changes to scheduler and I dont want to waste any time right invesigating a bug that I cant provide a patch for.

I have the same problem. I am getting a lot of duplicate recordings when I set a show to record all shows from a channel without duplicates. Do you want me to attach logs.. or is this a known issue that will be addressed in next release?

I was never able to reproduce the problem. There have been quite a few changes to the scheduler in the next release though, so I'd prefer to look at it again (if its still an issue) after the next release is out the door.
