I bought the PVR-150 Retail at CompUSA for $89.99 and there is a $20 rebate. It was $10 instant off at the register, normally priced $99.99.
I am new here. I recently got interested in putting together a PVR because I hate messing with tapes. I don't even think I have recorded anything to VHS in like 20 years.
My host computer is a Dell 400SC server. It has a 2.8GHz P4, 1024MB DDR400, 160GB Samsung HD, and an old GF4 TI4200 64MB video card.
I originally bought the computer as a lan party server, but I never had a lan party so it was just sitting there. Yeah, I know... who leaves a P4 server sitting idle in the corner? =)
I got the PVR-150 out of the box about 10pm last night and I finally got to bed about 4am this morning!
GB-PRV is pretty amazing. I may have some questions, but I will not highjack this thread. I am sure the search function with come in handy.
