I have installed GBPVR using NMTInstall.exe, trying to use this for my PC and my NMT. GBPVR start fine with no errors in both the PC and on the PCH. I can view the TV Guide and view live TV in the PC. But I cannot record or play any recorded programs or skip back durning a live recording on my PC.

I have included a copy of my log files.

When I hear these symptoms (live preview tv works on pc, no ability pause or record even though logs report signal lock), its usually found that the user has an HDHomeRun, and its caused by firewall or antivirus software getting in the way of communication between HDHomeRun and GBPVRRecordingService.exe. I see you have an HDHomeRun, so its almost certainly this.

I have made a clean install of windows XP on my PC just to have GBPVR running. I have no antivirus installed as of yet and have the firewalls turned off. HDHomerun and GBPVR were the only two items I have installed on the PC. Could it be by router?

Sorry, I dont know. Based on the description it still sounds to me like the Windows firewall or something is blocking it.

I'd take another closer look at any firewall settings on your machine.

The only firwall I have on my PC is the Windows xp firewall from the Start-Control panel-windows firewall. This is clicked OFF. Is there another firewall that windows has in XP? Or am I missing something.

No other third party software is installed only HDHomerun and GBPVR. Just cannot get the record to work. Should I un-install GBPVR totally and install new from http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=1

Thanks for your help, buy the way have you ever gone to Kosmos Greek Tavern in Wellington.

Try enabling multi-record in Config. If that doesn't work, try setting <BDADisableStatusChecks> to false and <BDACheckSignalStatusDuringRecording> to 0 in config.xml

I'm with sub though. It definitey sounds like something is blocking the stream.
