Can you be more specific?
Didnt you enable audio passthrough durning SAF install? Did you setup GB-PVR filter setting acording to screenshot on SAF thread? SAF logs can be handy too.

I've set it up like this:
When I start PVRX2 and I click 'Live TV', it does nothing (resets to main menu), so I try and retry and after awhile I finally see an image, but it's like only the top left corner of the tv feed (looks very stretched too). No sound. --- I don't have 'CyberLink Video Decoder' like you. I was using the DEFAULT, which was loading 'CoreAVC'...

So your TV is h.264 based, right?
Check PM. Can you send me SAF logs? Look on system root for them.

Yes, my capture device is an HDPVR. h.264
Now it's unlocked. Added CyberLink Video Decoder, still doesn't work. Also now, when I play my .TS (capture files from hdpvr) they play real bad. My system is getting completly screwed up now.

@dIggl3r
I checked you SAF log. What is "real bad"? Blockenies, choppy playback? Can you take screenshot? Try disable DXVA - START, SAF, PDVD - disable DXVA and restart GB-PVR. Did that help? What about DS video (divx/xvid)?

The "simple" thing I wanted was to not having to edit config.xml when switching between AC3 and AAC, and whatever I tried with SAF, it just make things worse and worse. I uninstalled SAF, reinstalled CoreAVC, and I'm back to where I was before...
I'm gonna thank you for trying to help, but I'm gonna stick with what worked, minus my edit problem.

Looks like you have DXVA problem (?drivers?) CoreAVC is software decoder (or CUDA) based.

I had NO video or audio problems, with any players, for any formats... all I wanted was the ac3/aac fix, and your thing not only didn't fix it but make it worse. All is back to normal now, don't worry about a thing.
