Oops.

No, I wasn't using the latest.

That did the trick! Thanks!

Hey DH,

I think I found a problem.

I added a movie to my Netflix queue on the Netflix website last night. I set the ini file to 0 days and ran update two times now and it still does not show up in My Queue in TX Desktop. It does appear as available in "Comedy" and I can watch it. I can add it from Comedies to My Queue in TX Desktop. After it adds it to My Queue it appears in My Queue but if I look at "Genres:" it just says Comedies, it doesnt also say My Queue. Also if I exit and restart TX Desktop it is gone again from My Queue. Its like its not sticking.

Thanks,
Snooze

Hey Snooze,

Ok that is weird, I do that frequently and never have problems with it.

I probably know the answer, but I have to ask, do you have the most recent version installed? 2.1.1.0? Do you have the log from when it downloaded your queue?

Have you tried deleting the movie from your queue online and adding it to your queue using my program?

Oh and just to let you know, the program checks your queue each time you open the program and it adds the movies found on the Netflix website, so you don't have to change the update days to 0, even if the movie is not in the database it will add it. At least it is supposed to.

First time I noticed this happening...

Yes, see file structure image and log file.

dhgb256 Wrote:Have you tried deleting the movie from your queue online and adding it to your queue using my program?-DH

That way works, but its more convenient to add to my queue from my laptop, not my HTPC, so that's why I do it like that.

I thought it did it like that, but I was trying anything to make sense of what was happening.

Hey snooze,

Does this happen every time you add a movie to your queue online? I can't replicate the problem, I have tried several times to add movies and can't get an error.

I think this was an API glitch on Netlfix's end, here is my reasoning: Everytime you open my program it makes an API call to Netflix and adds "My Queue" to all of the movies that are returned in the API instant queue call. And if it doesn't find one of the videos in your database, the program redownloads (using the isntall screen) your entire queue to make sure the video gets downloaded. If it still doesn't find the movie in the database it will go on an endless loop of download and recheck until it downloads all of the movies in the API call. So I can only conclude that the movie wasn't being added to the API call by netflix. The API is down for maintanance occassionally too, which might have caused the problem.

So I said all that to say this..try and add a video online again and see if the same problem occurs. If not, it was probably an API glitch.

If you can replicate the problem, then let me know the movie you added and I'll try it on my end.

Hey DL,

That log file isn't much use. I'll need to send you a more detailed test version. Did it always happen just on the television shows?

Ok, it does not show "Ugly Truth, The". I tried adding another with it and it showed it. It must be beyond your control. Thanks!

Weird, "The ugly truth" doesn't show up for me either. The program acts like the movie doesn't exist. I'll see if it is an API issue, or if it is something in my program and I'll let you know.
