New GBPVR install.
Using Schedules Direct 7 day free trial, chose a lineup for my zip code.

- I closed PVRX2
- I ran Config, edited my capture device, Emptied EPG, the Updated EPG.
- During the update I could see that GBPVR was going out to Schedules Direct and getting scheduling information.
- I closed config
- Ran PVRX2, still "No show details" for all channels.

My system clock is the correct date and time.
Scrolling ahead and back in schedule shows "no show details" for all channels.

Attached is a few logs.

Help!

It could be Vista/Win7 file protection getting in the way. Try deleting the "C:\Users\<Your Acount>\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\Program Files\Devnz" directory.

Those logs look fine, like its successfully pulled in lots of listings. Maybe try going forward/back to see if there are listings anywhere.

Nope, nothing anywhere. All times and channels say "no show details".

I did originally set up GBPVR to use the OTA guide and when that said "no show details" for everything I changed over to Schedules Direct.

Maybe the problem has to do with the original "DBV EPG broadcast" setup.

Yes, possibly - if the original scan names werent an exact match with those supplied by your new EPG source.

Try deleting and recreating your capture source.

Yep, I searched the archives and saw that a lot of people had the problem due to an incorrect pc time/date.

I'm pretty sure what's wrong is the order I did things, scanning channels using 'DVB EPG', then changing to 'schedules direct'.

This time I deleted the capture device, added a 'new' one, chose 'schedules direct' and when I tried to scan I got a pop up saying that I needed to get the EPG channels first. After doing this I was then able to scan the channels and the results were different - only channel call signs this time instead of channel #'s.

However now I had a different problem - I couldn't enable any of them! Any time I left that config screen, when I went back everything was disabled. Running PVRX2, when I clicked on 'TV Guide' or LiveTV, I got nothing - wouldn't even leave the main menu.

Oscar pre show was starting so I deleted the capture device again, repeated my original error again and at least now I can view and record the Oscars.

I'll attempt to set this up again the correct way another night.

You need to click the 'tuning request' column next to the 'enabled' tickbox to perform the mapping for each channel you want to enable.

Apologies if I am preaching to the choir ...

DVB ain't used in US. I supect that GBPVR has no suport for any broadcast EPG source in the US.

GBPVR does everything based upon the channel names found in the EPG source ... the channel names listed in the TV Guide will be the names from Schedules Direct. The mapping process allows you to map the broadcast channel nmes in the rightmost colum to the EPG channel ames in the leftmost column.

I suspect that changes that appear on screen in Config don't always make it into the configuration files until Config is closed. My personal policy is to close and restart Config often ... for example, delete a capture source, close and restart config, re-add the capture source.

Good Luck
