Hi,
Just wondering if anybody is using Hadu successfully? I've tried it and it has very fast channel changes but the moment I try leave GB-PVR or change over to a FTA channel it crashes PVRX2.

I've tried Acamd as well - this seems reasonably stable but I have noticed if you do a lot of channel changes really quickly it messes it up and then seems to not pick up that you've changed channels after. It also seems to try to login in more than once to CCcam.

I'd be happy to post the required logs for Hadu in case it is something that is easily fixed but not sure which ones will be relevant?

Also, I suspect Hadu won't work for me anyway. I intend to run 5 MediaMVP off this machine one it's working ok but I think Hadu only allows 1 signal to be decrypted?

Cheers

I'd like to test it but I'm a little confused, can you run it with NewCS as cardserver? If so, how do you st up NewCS to support it?

I haven't a clue! I found CCcam was really easy to get going. I've installed that on my Linux file server downstairs, put in a smargo smartreader+ (so it can update the card as well as read it) and ran CCcam. It picked it up straight away and is working fine.

Just need to get a reliable MDAPI for GBPVR now.

Whilst I've been playing about trying to get this to work, I think I found the error seems to be GB-PVR side rather than Hadu. It's occuring in Flycccam as well as Hadu.

I've attached a log, the error is at the top. The Hadu log exits gracefully so I assume there wasn't an issue with that.

I dont really know anything about Hadu, so its hard to make suggestions. I can tell you there is some improvement in multidec support in the next release, so hopefully this will help the situation you're encountering.

Do you mean this error:
Quote:2010-03-14 12:26:53.281 ERROR [1] Unexpected error in direct task: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
This error occurs when either the recording service is not running (maybe through crash), or firewall software is getting in the way of communication.

Hi,
Cheers for the reply. I ensured as a temporary measure no firewalls were running so there definitely isn't an issue there.

I was actually referring to these errors:

Quote:2010-03-14 12:27:14.375 VERBOSE m_pD3DDev->Present() failed
Error code : 80004005
E_FAIL
An undetermined error occurred

May I ask is there a planned release date for the next release?

Cheers

PS: I notice sub you have mentioned you are using acamd successfully. Do you use this with cccam?

Its normal to see one of these messages in the log when closes the app. It happens because the app tries to update the screen one time after direct3d has already been shutdown.

I dont know the exact date yet. We're currently in the testing and fixing stuff. Its a fairly large release, so still lots of bugs to be fixed. Hopefully within the next 3 weeks or so.

No, I'm using it with newcs, with a dreambox dm-7025 acting as the server.
