Media MVP Vs Standalone PC with PVR 350 connected directly to pc

Is there any reason other than to extend the viewing to another TV to actually have a Media MVP if your main PVR box is sat next to the tv and connected directly in.

I am looking to finalise my PVR set up and wondering if it is actuall worth bothering with an MVP.

Any ideas?

As I said in the MVP Vs PC thread - video output quality.

That was the clincher for me, I just couldn't get a decent picture from any of the video cards I tried when connected to my TV, the MVP gives a great picture, although of course it only works in stand-alone or GB-PVR mode and doesn't display your Windows desktop.
