Feel free to let me know how I can help!

I can run a beta program again i you'd like!

Thanks!

Hey Tisch,

90% there and counting!

Here is my latest and greatest. I added in a recursive check, if it doesn't find 24 movies on a page it defaults to using the IE object (slower, but more stable). So hopefully this will fix the problem. But if it doesn't, I added additional log file generation, so this one should allow me to figure out the problem of why you aren't seeing all of the movies. Please run this, you only need to run through Step 1, so it should be pretty quick (~5 min). Then click cancel and send me your logs file directory. It should generate 21 log files.

THANKS! Big Grin

kean Wrote:Sorry my problem description was confusing. Okay when I run Netflix TX Desktop. a Refresh Database? box will pop up but I will just click "No" and box will pop up again that says "Timestamp Is Invalid" and when I click okay. It goes to Installation status that downloads movie info and after a while the "Timestamp Is Invalid" box will appear and it will just repeat again when I click okay.Thanks.
and here's the log attached.

Hi kean,

Try the attached version and then let me know if you still have the same problem. This is my latest beta, I made some updates to the queue download management that aren't included in the latest stable version. Hopefully this fixes the problem. If it doesn't make sure to send me the contents of the logs folder and a screen shot of the error.

Thanks!

Hmmmmm...something's not right here.

The program starts but doesn't load anything and then just closes. No downloads?

Here are the logs...

OK, looking at it, it looks like you aren't getting a response from netflix. Click on this link: http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=296&vt=tg&ftr=false

and make sure you are still logged in (in internet explorer). I've had problems in the past where my cookie got deleted and I didn't realize it until I tried running the program. And just in case, here is an updated test version with additional error logging.

I am missing one log file, can you send me the databasebuild log also? I need that one to tie it all together.
Thanks!

You do not need to still send me the databasebuild log file.

OK, very curious. When I look at the logs I see no errors. But for every genre you are consistently seeing fewer movies than I do when I run the program (se attached your databasebuid log versus mine, my page counts are all higer than yours). Please use internet explorer and mozilla to open the following links and let me know what the total page count is (and if it is different between the two programs):

http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=296&vt=tg&ftr=false (mine is 15, you show 11)
http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=306&vt=tg&ftr=false (mine is 30, you show 23)
http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=371&vt=tg&ftr=false (mine is 5, you show 4)

If you confirm this for me, it might be a netflix server issue and I'll report it to Netflix. But short answer is I don't think it is a problem with my program. Heck they may have different instant view movies vailablebased on your region of the country.

Well that blows my different regions theory out of the water Smile I'll post 2.2.4.0 right now.
