weather plugin

Hi

I am sure to like the weather plugin. Downloaded it. But, I cannot find anywhere how to install this and to get it to work.
Is there a manual somewhere??

Hm yes, there seems to be no readme-file with it. But it's essentially the same as any other plugin.

1. copy directories and files into the respective subfolders
2. enable the plugin in the configure program (external plugins)
3. add the region-codes in the settings-dialogue you can call when enabling the plugin. In America it seems you can use the ZIP-code, for other places go to msnbc/weather and look for the cty-part of the URL used to open the weather-forecast for that place (e.g. Munich in Germany is GMXX0263).

I am trying to add weather to my plugins and have added the files in the proper directory (I think) and made the settings in config. However, on the main menu, WEATHER does not show up. Why is this not showing up on the main menu?

Make sure to double check that there is a check in the check box in front of the weather module in the config app. It is actually possible to do all the settings for the modules, without the checkbox being checked. Perhaps the settings for the modules should only be available when the checkbox is checked?

Thanks stefan but there is a check in that box. I have also adjusted the settings for that box with my zip code (US). When I tried the Theatre plugin, it shows up in the main menu but only the Weather does not.

I could not get a reply from the weather plugin last night either so I suspect the website in the U.S. which supplies the info may not have been working

My Weather plug-in has been working up until last night, maybe the site has changed thier pages so it will not work anymore? There might be a biger problem?

Doesn't work for me too. Does the plugin call the msn-site? I justed checked MSN - seemed slow. I looked up Yogyakarta-Indonesia - after I got it, no data. Current conditions -na- all.
