I never said that. I still use Clear QAM daily but 99% of my viewing is local channels. Also, people don't realize that although they are losing their additional Clear QAM channels, they were lucky to ever receive them in the first place. The majority of cable companies have always only had the locals in Clear QAM. Comcast was one of the few companies that offered more. I've never been able to receive more than my locals and a couple of shopping channels in Clear QAM. Only recently has my cable company begun broadcasting other basic channel in Clear QAM so now I also get Weather and a couple of news channels in addition to my locals. You think you are losing but welcome to the world in which the rest of us have always lived.
I will still be keeping ALL my QAM tuners although I may reallocate two of them to OTA so I can get a couple of channels that are not on my cable provider. The OCUR tuner will basically replace my analog tuners, not my QAM tuners.
