Recording Quality of AVI conversions.

I would like to know if I can increase the quality of the AVI output file. I know that in the records menu it has a low, medium, and high quality option but I also saw the custom 1 and custom 2 options ? I was wonder if I can tweak my recordings for slightly better quality than high. I am using analog and my codecs are in Xvid format with a output in avi.

You can change the ffmpeg conversion command lines in config.xml, to tweak the bitrate/resolution/etc.

I dont personally use the conversions myself, so cant give you any advice on good command lines. I prefer to just use the original recording files, rather than wasting time and quality with converting to other formats.
