Hi,

On the UK Hauppauge site I can see a new HVR version, the WinTV-HVR-4400 (http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products...r4400.html). Is it safe to assume that this card also is supported by GBPVR. With the possibility to use the WinTV-CI module for pay-tv, I am now thinking about kicking my old analogue setup out through the door.

As I understand the difference between the two versions is that I will be able to record on both DVB-S and DVB-T at the same time.

Anyone knows if this is a correct assumption.

Thanks,

Does it actually say anywhere that you can use >1 tuner at once? Would be very handy if so. Real shame it's not DVB-T2 though.

Sort of.... The signature Mr X who seems to be working at Hauppauge wrote this in the forum.

Yes, this card does work with GB-PVR. I've briefly tried it.

Finally, I was able to get my hands on the card (HVR-4400) and I have started the process of setting it up. However, it does not show in the list of available cards at all, and when I select only to show devices in this machine, I get other cards (HVR-1200, HVR-1700 and some other cards I dont have). Since the card i fairly new is there any manual configuration needed in order to get the correct parameters for that card? Or should I choose the older but similar card HVR-4000?

Maybe this should go to the support forum?

Thanks,

I'm not home to check my master file, but if you run filtercheck.exe and post the filtercheck.log, I'll tell you what needs to be added to your bda.ini file.
