Hi,
I have recently tried to install and configure GBPVR as alternative PVR
for my DTV Leadtek Winfast USB Dongle Gold .
I went step by step along guide for DVB-T till channel scanning.
It finds and correctly displays TV shows from all available DVB-T multiplexes.
But it strangely keeps empty channel list and finally claims it has found nothing.
Could you, please, give me an advice what to do ?
( Location Brno, Czech Republic )
Note that I have not noticed any troubles in channel scanning in WinfastPVR2 or Media center.
I wanted to attach a ZIP with logs, but for some reasons clicking to icons
or button Manage attachments does not work. So I have used rapidshareto provide logs
http://rapidshare.com/files/377519976/GB...s.zip.html
Aside of configs in ZIP, I have also tried to increase start delay in confix.xml from 1 to 5 s,
and wait delay from 15 to 30s, and switch on 144(?) kHz shift scanning.
I have read in forum it can help in some cases, but without success.
I have also installed Cyberlink MPG mux,
seeing in logs Config utility was trying to create MPG file root folder.
But no difference.
There is used tailored channel list of local broadcastings in config/logs in ZIP.
As TV source is used common signal in block of flats
Last 2 from list of 6 are not really present in a signal.
Before creating logs I have used also All regions settings with all frequency scan, no success.
I use DTV Leadtek Winfast USB Dongle Gold for DVB-T on Vista64 Premium SP2.
I use original PVR Leadtek Winfast2, but it has some troubles in importing all data from channel stream EPG.
I also use Vista original MCE, but there is inline EPG for 4 main local channels only.
I have tried also TV Pack 2008. But because I have not found any working and free solution to convert WTV files, and it crippled my Leadtek WinfastPVR2 installation, I reverted back.
As other solution, if GBPVR would not be usable for me,
I am thinking about XMLTV proxy utility to import EPG to MCE from local stored EPG, extracted from DVB-T by DVBGuide. ( Unfortunately, MCGuideLoad from DVBGuide is not working for Vista64 - confirmed by author)
Edit:If relevant, I was not able to install it by standard way, getting fatal error.
I had to used the workaround from Ms site, mentioning problems with MSi scripts:
MSIEXEC /i package /gr+
Also, config seems to have troubles with keeping chosen language.
There is in logs mentioned a path to language subfolder was not found (like that),
but the folder is on its place.
