I have installed GB-PVR on Windows XP x64 with a HVR-1700 card.
I created a capture source and entered the tv channels by key-ing in the frequencies of each channel.
The tuning assistent is showing all the channels during scanning.
However, the PVR2 application is not showing the channels.
Or better - it shows the entered channel labels. But not the channel belonging to that label. In fact, the picture doesn't even switch when selecting a new channel.

Anyone any idea how to fix this?

Hi and welcome,

You might want to check out FreqCopy in this wiki link: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...gAssistant. Because we have all these strange frequencies in the Netherlands, using this tool makes it easier to setup GBPVR. After setting up the registry with this tool, you can for instance point "Nederland 1" to source channel 1. I've attached a sample registry file, to make clear what needs to go into the Windows directory (which is something the freqcopy tool will do for you). Hope this helps.

I have done that. Which made things worse - more or less.
Previously, within PVR2, I had at least something showing. Just not the channels I entered. Now, everything is all black.
The tuning asistent still shows the right channels.
Any other suggestions?

Create a text file with your channel numbers, frequencies and the station name and then zip and post it along with your gbpvr.db3 file.

The database structure looks fine. One thing I did notice is that Sheik has a frequency of 208000000 for "Nederland 1" while you have a frequency of 216000000. You have 208000000 for "Ketnet Canvas". Do the frequencies normally differ depending on your region?

Yes - different regions have different frequencies.

Any idea what could be wrong?
