Selecting a different decoder doesn't seem to make it use the selected decoder?

I have a number of decoders but when I select different ones and try to run LiveTV, I always see the lastgraph or bda.grf have the same decoders being used, Nvidia and AC3Filter.

Is there a trick to get them to "stick"?

Are you on Windows7 or Vista? If so, it could be the virtual store getting in the way.

Yes, Vista. I've had a google of virtual store, but cannot work out how I'd get around that for this application?

Try deleting the "c:\users\<your account>\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory, then try again. Hopefully it'd then work.

Unfortunately, I don't seem to have one of those directories in the store?

It probably isnt virtual store causing the problem then.

Maybe check you've only got one copy of config.xml on your machine, and check its decoder settings match the one you've tried setting in the config app.

also, if the other decoders aren't working for any reason, they won't be used...
it only *tries* the decoder you select first...if it doesn't work,it'll just ask windows to select till it finds one that does..
