Sub,

Thanks again for your help with my configuration. Now I am trying to set up multiple recording functionality (e.g, Watch DVB-T and Record DVB-S at the same time) but cannot get it to work. As I understand it the HVR-4400 supports this as the HVR-4000 did not.

Is there any specific I have to do? I have experimenting with the "Device Number" setting but I understand that this is only if you have two cards sharing the same drivers.

Also, watching a DVB-S channel pops up the WinTV-CI information box each time a new program is selected. Is there any way to avoid this?

Thanks,

\\Anders

Sorry, the entries I posted yesterday were slightly wrong. Try these:

[Hauppauge HVR-4400 (DVB-S/S2)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-S
SUPPORTS_BDA_DISEQC=3
ONLY_SCAN_ON_LOCK=1
TUNING_SPECIAL=5
SHARED_NAME=Hauppauge 4400-S
FILTER_TUNER=Hauppauge WinTV 885 Alt BDA Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=Hauppauge WinTV 885 Alt TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

[Hauppauge HVR-4400 (DVB-T)]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
SHARED_NAME=Hauppauge 4400-T
FILTER_TUNER=Hauppauge WinTV 885 BDA Tuner/Demod
FILTER_CAPTURE=Hauppauge WinTV 885 TS Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

What does the information box look like? I'm not sure what you mean.

Do you have a hcwCITray.exe running? If so, try killing it.

No, I cannot find anything remotly like hcwCITray.exe in Task Manager nor in Services.

But in my system tray I have now 8 icons for this menu as they dont go away and a new one is added each time I change channel.

Also there is noting in the startup folder or Installed programs that might be related to this.

I also now searched for the file and it does not even exist on the computer.

Are you actually intending to use the WinTV-CI?

Absolutly, I need it to decrypt the channels as all are enctrypted on my subscription. Besides the popup that steals focus it works great. But maybe I have something installed from Hauppauge that is not needed and instead part of GBPVR, that I dont know.
