when I was struggling with the XP install issue, I did have a circle N in the tray, next to the nice G I am used to. I clicked on it and there was some functionality but I don't remember what. Now, with a clean install, I don't have it anymore. Is this an issue?

Also, how do you stop a recording in progress? I scheduled one and it started, then I was messing with the EPG and wanted to stop it. I can't figure out how. (thats why I was looking for the tray icon)

Do you see NTray.exe running in the process list? If not, if you manually run it does the icon show up?

In the Recordings screen pressing left/right cycles between the different view modes. In the 'Pending' recordings list you can cancel the recording.

Now there was a nugget of information I missed all day. I switched to the old style recordings screen just to get pending overview Rolleyes . The new version just grew a bit more on me Wink

I miss not being able to start x-pvr from the system tray icon. Any plans to restore this functionality?

Also, the n-pvr tray right click menu behaves oddly (xp sp2). Clicking away from the menu doesn't cancel it so it just sits there until you make a selection.

Ok, the attached patch has a context menu option to start it.

Sub, the context menu option does not work on 64bit windows 7 since the path is not correct.

Oops, just realised I left the message box in there. I'll remove it.
