1 - How many times have you tried this? About three times
2 - Have you rebooted or deleted your cache any time before trying this again? I have rebooted but not deleted the cache, how would I do that?
3 - Is it always after the sgid=0 that it gives the error (e.g. does the DownloadSGID log always end with 371)? Yes
4 - When you follow this link in IE do you get an error? - http://www.netflix.com/WiGenre?sgid=371&vt=tg&ftr=false Not sure I can try tonight

Hey Satori,

Clearing the cache is the same as deleteing temporary internet files. To do this:
Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Under browsing History, click delete button -> Check temporary internet files and click OK.
Using disk cleanup will not work if you have IE7 or 8.

I looked at the program and the major error that you are getting should in theory never happen. Two things will cause this error, either your hard disk is full, or the directory is write protected. Since it is creating the log files, it appears neither of these things is true. The only thing the program is doing in this block of code is opening a new text file for error logging.

Can you confirm that your hard disk isn't full?

Thanks rebooting my system cleared up the issue, my XP had not been rebooted in over 60 days I know that has to be a record for XP to stay up and running that long without a reboot..lol

Wow, 60 days is nuts, I'm lucky if I get 2 days without a reboot. Glad to hear you got it fixed!

I will check these. I confirmed the system can go to the link you provided BTW.

DH,

Here is a first for me. I run it as a custom app in GBPVR. It loads up my queue, flashes the first movie jacket real fast, and exits right away. Running it external (alone) same thing... Thoughts?

Try going into your .ini file and turn off the view last feature (Last Viewed=False) and try reopening. I have found that if there is an error with the stored last viewed info it causes the program to crash. I have it fixed in the next version, but the new version is taking a while to complete. You can turn it back on after you view a movie/show.

If that doesn't work then your database file may be corrupted. You may have to delete it and rebuild it using the movieinfo_blank.ntf file.

Let me know if that works.

Hi Satori,

You may also want to try and reset your internet modem (turn it off for 60 seconds and turn it back on) , the database build makes a LOT of internet calls and if your internet connection is unstable it can cause problems with the database build. I ususally have to reset my modem bimonthly or so.

Let me know if you get this working.

Yep, that fixed it. (Last Viewed=False)

To expand on my previous request, I was wondering, if you could make it so when exit the app after watching a program that we selected in the "Queue Order" or "User Rating" it would return to the same, instead of always opening back up in "Alphabetical" order? It does return to last watched, but in alphabetical order instead of the order we left off. If it could stay where it exited for "last viewed" too in the same respect that would be awesome. Watching it in MY queue order or user rating is more important, to me at least, than alphabetical. Have them lined up in the order we like to watch them. Kinda like girlfriends... if I dated in alphabetical order, I would have never met Wanda! And she was at the top of the "User Rating" and "My Queue" LOL ;-)

Great app! Is there any way to get ffdshow to work with this? Came across some Netflix Watch Now movies that have extremely low voice and super loud special effects/music. Would love to normalize the sound.
Thanks.
