The movie played fine for me, the dialogue is always a bit quieter than the sound effects on watch now movies, but not horrible. This movie was no worse than any of the others. It is a pretty funny movie too, worth a watch.

Hey Guys,

This took a LOT of work, but I finally updated my GUI to include transparent controls and background images. Can you please try out my latest beta and let me know if there are any issues.

With this program it comes loaded with two default images, one for the main screen and another for all of the popup windows. You can use your own image files by putting them in the application directory and naming them background.jpg and popup.jpg. Many thanks to The Hairy Man for allowing me to use his wave image for my default and helping me come up with a popup window background.

You'll need to open the option screen and select a new selection color (my old default was indianRed, if you liked it).

I am willing to entertain changing the defualt images if you have better suggestions. I'm not sold on the popup background, but I really like the main screen wave background.

Snooze I have not started working on your request, but it is on my to do list.

Thanks!

-DH

Same version here. Just signed up for Netflix last weekend, so it should be most up to date. Thanks.

Yeah..very funny movie! I'm thinkin maybe my prob lies with using the TV as center channel. Might try hooking up an actual center channel speaker to it.
Thanks for testing the movie.

Just a few, I skipped 2.3.X.X to 2.4.1.0 ( I did update desktop.exe, help.chm, and .ini though). You released fast!

1. When I try to change the font size or days to update in options on the main screen it crashes. I prefer 4 days and size 16 font. I need to change it in the ini file for now. Its a one time change for me so that isnt upseting me at all Big Grin
2. Rating dialog box cuts off the 5 star at 16 font.
3. Synopsis is narrow in movies too. Was wide and readable there before.

Seems mostly dialog box sizes that needs some attention at different font sizes. I had two gripes but you fixed them in the last release. Smile My previous request still stand of course.

This app is getting REAL good! Fantastic work!

I am able to change the font on mine, but not the days. I need to fix that.

But neither actually crashes the program, so I'm not sure what would be causing that. I'll take a look though.

Snooze Wrote:2. Rating dialog box cuts off the 5 star at 16 font.

I have updated the stars, I decided to update them because the netflix stars look like crap when scaled up. I'll fix the sizing issues as well.

Snooze Wrote:3. Synopsis is narrow in movies too. Was wide and readable there before.

On the info popup screen, or on the main screen? Can you send me a screen shot, so I can see the problem?

If you are referring to the info screen, I reorganized it, so I could add genres to the screen. the old layout had a lot of wasted space. Is it getting scrunched on your screen? I get about 6 word across on mine (1280 x 720 @ 18 font).

Thank you! Oh, and I will get to your feature request, I'm taking a short programming hiatus, I've been ignoring the fam too much lately Smile I'm trying to keep the programming to under an hour a day for a bit.
