Sharing epg between gbpvr and npvr

Hi,

I am currently running both GBPVP and NPVR. I have a scheduled .bat file to update my epg .xml file and gbpvr.db3 database:

"C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\EPG" mc2xml -c us -g 75218 -t
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\pvrx2.exe" "-OnlyUpdateEPG"

What do I need to do to keep npvr in sync?

that first line looks a bit odd, shouldn't work..
i just schedule a epg update in npvr to be an hour later than the one on main server and don't use any epgupdate.bat, just point it to the file on the server machine..

After I create the 5 xmltv files my batch files ends with

"C:\Program Files\NPVR\NextPVR.exe" -updateepgonly
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\pvrx2.exe" -updateepgonly

mc2xml -c us -g 75218 -t

Let me try adding the NextPVR.exe command. Had to be something easy.

I tried adding "C:\Program Files\NPVR\NextPVR.exe" -updateepgonly to my bat file and it locked up my system. I created a bat file with just this command and it locked up my system.
It starts running and using about 50% of the cpu and I can continue to do other work. After a few minutes my system crawls to almost a halt. Nextpvr.exe is still running but using very little cpu. When I kill the task my system starts responding again.

Don't know if it helps, but I see the same when I try to 'Update EPG' from the Channels settings.

Can someone tell me what sqllite table 'epg_event' is used for? I went into the database and it appears to have 132,670 empty rows.

The epg_event table holds all the tv listings.

OK, if I open the table in SQLLIte3 management Studio it gives the appearance of having empty rows, but if I select individual colums I see data. Do you think emptying the epg and reloading it might help?

I emptied the epg and went into TV Guide to verify that it was empty. I then ran 'update epg' and monitored it. It took 50% of the cpu for a couple of minutes and thne dropped to anything between 0% and 5%, but still increasing it's mem useage. When it drops my system is barely responsive and I never get a return from the 'update epg'. I have to cancel the task manually. Then my system is back to normal and the epg has indeed been updated.

Any suggestions?
