Minute or two, if does it want. Mostly have to go back main menu and start live tv again. Then it start to recently choosen channel.
When I make request, for example with arrow key, picture freeze and next channel sound is audible few seconds, then nothing happen. Sometimes it wake up after minute or two. Same behaviour
regardles of renderer or decoder.
Windows XP sp3 and system language is english.

Yeah, a couple minutes is definitely not right. It should be more like somewhere between 1-3 seconds.

How big sample file is right? 30M? It is here:http://koti.mbnet.fi/jkirjo/nouto/Den%20...052250.rar
Hope scandi-characters do not make problems.
Which leading to other minor, but annoying problem with show names and info (whole EPG). When we are in bilingual coutry, epg is "on air" both, finnish and swedish. Now show info in epg is mixed,
some in finnish and others in swedish. I prefer finnish. Sample file's name is swedish too.

That is big enough.

No, its all done with bitmaps anyway, so the application doesnt need to know anything about any characters that happening to be included in the bitmap.

I can see its successfully decoding all the subtitles, but the broadcaster is immediately sending a clear screen command a few millseconds later (for a future timestamp), and this is confusing the subtitle decoder. Most broadcasters just send the clear screen command when its time to clear the subtitles from the screen.

I'm seeing I can put a fix in without too much work.

Yes, not right. But they are there. Timing don't match and some texts stay over few lines and drops right ones.
Picture freezing shortly, like first release. Have to test with faster pc.

I tested NPVR in livinroom faster mediaPC (2,93G, dual core. Happily run GP-PVR), and there video was less or not choppy in dvb-subtitled channels. Subtitles were not still right.
In dvb-subtitled channels, something consumes resources more than channels wihtout them. Are subtitles enabled or not. In this testPC (2G Celeron), video from subtitled channels is annoying
choppy, but commercial channels without dvb-subtitles are fine. Not sure, is this NPVR issue at all, even if GB-PVR works much better.

Wondering, how all dvb-receivers and VLC-player can handle subtitles as they should be, if there is clear screen command in wrong place?
