New External App: Netflix Viewer

It crashes as I pick in the box of days or fonts. I cannot enter a change or click OK or Apply before the crash. I can make all other changes without a crash except those two boxes.

OK, but you can tab through everything without a problem right? It only crashes when you type in a number?

Any chance you are typing in a letter instead of a number?

It crashes as I pick the box, thats it. Cant begin to type a thing. I can tab through and make changes with success now I discovered, just not left mouse pick. I can live with it. Just wanted to give you the heads up.

Ahhh, now I got the error. I never use a mouse with this program, so I didn't test this. Apparently clicking into one of my transparent text boxes causes the program to crash. I'm looking into it.

Great I'll release the update. It was crashing because for some reason a mouse click causes the events to fire in a different order. Frustrating, but I got it figured out

Hi jrock,

The program runs as a stand alone program on windows computers using .net 3.5. I don't know how the extenders work, but if you can connect it to a computer to broadcast it will probably work. I would need more info on how the extender works to really give you an answer.

Hi all,

I am having a problem with the application and I hope someone has an answer to the following problem.
Whenever I run Netflix TX Desktop I get a "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application" error.
I am using Windows XP Pro and I have tried it on 3 separate PC's. with the same error. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info.

A long time ago I use to be a plugin developer for GBPVR and I'm looking to get back to using GBPVR / NPVR.

The popcorn hour with mvpmx - as I understand it - creates an http stream of the GBPVR intereface. When you click on a file to watch, it (mvpmx) streams the file to the devices.

Another way to ask the question: If I had a 1 server and 2 client's of NPVR - where the external app was installed on the server. From one of the client NPVR, can I use the external application and watch hulu or netflix?

It seems from your earlier answer that this would not work today?
