I kept it simple:
@echo off
cd "D:\EPG
start mc2xml.exe
exit
I did change the directory where it resides after johnsonx42 suggested I not keep things in my program files directory even though it had worked fine since the early versions of NPVR.
I'll check this the next few days and see if the message still appears.
