I am using c:\program files\npvr
Now the newcs web server is running and the newcs seems to be working, but nothing is talking to newcs. I think the problem is with the multidec. Is there any way to se the status of that part or test it in some way?
Thanks a lot for all yor help, I am getting closer, but not there yet..

There is a ACamdMonitor, can that be helpful?
If you are running NPVR on Windows 7 (or Vista) stopping NPVR recording service might help you. Then after starting nextpvr.exe the recording process will run in session 1 and acamd will be able to interact with desktop. You should then see an icon appearing in the taskbar. By clicking on the icon you should be able to open acamd monitor if acamd is running.
You can also edit acamd.ini, which is in the same directory as acamd.dll, to enable acamd logging into file:

MonLog=1
You can also use the standalone ACAMDMonitor.exe. Did you define a user/password for each instance of your capturecard in multidec? And put a separate set of Acamd files in each subdir under MDPlugins?

I don´t find any acamd.ini, where should that be?
I have found one proof of acamd is running. There is a "AcamdTmp" directory in pMDplugin under the device. There are .bin files created in the AcamdTmp directory when I change channel. But that is all, no icon in the tasbar.

Can I use that to see if acamd is running? If i open ACAMDMonitor.exe it is blank, I can only send commands but if I try, nothing happens

I am only testing with one capturecard to begin with. Or do you mean anything else with "instance"?
One thing struck me, is the decryption only working with some specific tuner cards or with all that is working on uncrypted channels in NPVR?

Acamd.ini should be in the same directory as the acamd.dll, Here's an example:
Code:
[ACamd]
MonLog=0
Trayicon=1
This will turn logging off and trayicon on, if it does not you can simply make one.
AcamdMonitor must be started prior to activation of acamd.dll, any npvr compatible capturecard can be used. There must be at least one directory for the capturecard with the acamd files in it if you want to do any decryption. If you want to record/decrypt more that one channel at the same time you must define more than one instance in NextPVR -> Settings -> Devices {your card} -> Device setup.
This will make one directory for each instance of the card under MDPlugins, each directory must have tha acamd files. What cardserver du you use?
Edit: I'm using version 0.6.18 of Acamd, it works with the AcamdMonitor.

Everything seems to work except there is no picture on encrypted channels.
ACamd Monitor says: [SIZE="2"]21:33:36.807: Ch: 1150 - TVNZ
21:33:36.807: Programm crc: A0EA3303
21:33:36.808: PMT: ACamd_PMT.txt, search, not found PMT=047E (AND SID=047E)

Should it be this way? "search, not found" does not seems ok?
The ACamd_PMT.txt contains this line as I have been told should work with Swedish Boxer: [SIZE="2"]P:0500:00023208:caid[/SIZE]
What does the log ftom NEWCSGui say when you try to watch an encrypted channel?
