Stream DVD's with NPVR

I know this probably won't work, but thought I'd ask if it was possible anyway.

If I put a DVD in the NPVR server machine, can I use NPVR to stream that to a client NPVR?

Share the DVD drive on the server.
Add the share to the directories for Video library on the client.
You should then be able to stream it from the video library on the client.
