I did a recording on the server (1080i). Unfortunately same results. Recording playback stutter, slow down and other artifacts that make it unwatchable during and after recording is done. However, I go to playback same recording through Videos, and viola, smooth playback, no hiccups but no meta data of course. Just feels like I am almost there but not quite.
I am still having the "directory does not exist" error when trying live TV.

I seem to remember a couple of users mentioning this in the past, but I havnt looked into it. If you create that directory on the client, does live tv play?
One more test I did, I used a spare Gbit switch I have to connect Client to Server directly. Results improved, but still unwatchable. There are less hiccups and stutter, but no where near direct playback. Is there anything I can do to improve buffering on the client?

If you do the same on a SD channel, does it work better than your 1080i channel?

Well, I do not have an F drive on the client, it is occupied by the CD drive.
Sorry to bother you, but now my analog device (pvr-150) failed to start according the NPVR. It worked last night too. I tried a 480p channel, same problem.
I wasnt about to reproduce the directory problem here.
What exactly does the message say? Is it a Window's style popup with message etc? If so, please post the details to help me know where it is trying to look for the this directory.
