EPG updates overlapping and overwriting

I am seeing duplicates in the epg once again post upgrade to 1.5.31. Let me know if you need logs or other data.

yes. ditto. Im still getting the dupes on several channels. affects the readability of the guide. The DBT updates whilst viewing arent intelligently updating / overwriting the EPG entries.. prob still exists in 1.5.31

To be honest ,I havnt got back and had a look at this in the last couple of weeks. I've been busy with day job stuff.

I'm seeing something like this in North America also. I'm getting 7 or 8 simultaneous recordings of the same show in the same timeslot on the same channel.

Thanks XJW, I've been following that thread also. In my situation all my duplicates are coming from the recordings plugin. I've moved all my stuff to NEWA to try and get around my problem because the stuff in NEWA was behaving correctly.

OK, that didn't work. Every single recording is duplicated today.

Until sub has some time to investigate, here's a SQL query that should show the duplicate recordings if you have any. Run using sqllite against the gbpvr.db3 database.

select * FROM SCHEDULED_RECORDING where ROWID IN(
SELECT MAX(OID) From SCHEDULED_RECORDING GROUP BY name,start_time HAVING COUNT(*)>1 ) and filename='';


If you want to delete the dupes, change "select *" to "delete". Use at your own risk, I am far from a SQL expert. Seemed to work on mine though.
