Am I only one, who still miss working dvb-subtitles? There is possibility to choose subtile, but nothing
happen.
In live tv, channel changing last forever, if it doesn't freeze totally. In NPVR.log, there is many, many
lines regarding subtitles. Is it possible, that hesitating with channel changing could be related to this
dvb subtitle issue? Sorry my english.

The DVB-subtitles works fine here, but not all shows use dvb-subtitles. A lot of SD-transmissions still use teletext-subtitles, and these are not implemented yet.

Here in Finland, we have only DVB-subtitles. Commercial channels "burn" subtitles already to video, but YLE sends only DVB-subtitles. At first there was teletext-subtitles as well, but not any more.

Mmmm, that's strange anyway, what render/decoder combinations have you tried?

All possible combinations. Occasionally, when i change renderer while playing live tv, it shows right text shortly. Wrong place (left, about 30% from top) and very occasionally. And only once at the time.

I remember faintly having problems with certain render/decoder combinations in npvr's first days, but my memory has a lot more crc-errors now than when I was younger, so can't say what Big Grin
Anyway, I think you have to make a recording Sub can have a closer look at to solve this issue.

If you watch the recording with VLC-mediaplayer, are you able to turn on the subtitles and see them?

Our DVB-Subtitles work here. You'd probably have to supply a short sample recording so I could take a look.

Ou yes. In VLC player subtitles works fine. I'll make a short sample, when there is next subtitled show.
How about slow(or freezing) channel changing, is there any possible reason in logs?

Approximately how long are these channel changes taking on the PC? (not MVP/PCH)
